Join a state-of-the-art practice with the Department of Orthopedics at UMass Memorial Medical Center, the clinical system for the University Of Massachusetts Medical School, which is certified as a Level One adult and pediatric trauma center.

Applicants should have completed a trauma fellowship and be BC or BE in Orthopedic Surgery. Candidate should display a commitment to excellence in patient care, and teaching of residents and fellows. The department offers a highly incentivized compensation plan, excellent benefits and academic rank commensurate with experience.

This growing and dynamic Department (30 full-time faculty, 22 residents, 5 fellows) offers an extraordinary opportunity.  Our trauma division, staffed with fellowship trained traumatologists, supports over 2500 multiple system trauma admissions to the University’s trauma service annually.  Our facilities include new, state of the art operating rooms, a new Emergency Department built to accommodate over 100,000 patient visits per year, extensive imaging facilities and a life flight service with two helicopters based at our center.  Clinical and basic science research opportunities are extensive.
