Our small multi-specialty
group which is anchored
around orthopedic fracture and trauma care, would
like to add 2 more orthopedic surgeons over the next
several months. We have an immediate need. We will
also consider temporary or locum tenens type coverage.
We are interested in a
fellowship-trained or equivalent trauma specialist able
to care for pelvic and acetabular injuries. We
would also like to bring in a general orthopedist who
enjoys basic fracture work and may have a
subspecialty interest.
We are a private practice
that contracts with our local level 2 suburban trauma
center to provide call coverage and complex orthopedic
trauma services. Gwinnett Medical Center serves a count
of over 700,000 people in Northeast Atlanta.
There is an excellent opportunity to develop a referral
base for complex
acute cases and reconstructive procedures. We
also benefit from ancillary
services with MRI and PT.
This is an excellent
opportunity for someone with an interest in a
private practice opportunity. We
have created a hybrid type orthopedic trauma practice
with a private group supplemented by the hospital. We
have PA assistance, call pay, coverage for complex
indigent cases, general trauma surgeons, and excellent
OR availability. In addition, there is the
option to work part-time at an academic center if
desired.
